We adore all A-2 deck jackets. It has been my personal go-to vintage military jacket for every day use here in Nova Scotia. It is just perfect.
THIS Vietnam-war-era example is not only in wonderful condition, but it happens to feature one of, if not THE most badass and eye-catching Cold War back stencils we have ever seen. The jacket belonged to the USS George Washington (SSBN-598) Submarine and features a massive “NUCLEAR WEAPONS DEPT” stencil on the back. Truly one of a kind
Replacement CROWN zipper, all original buttons and soft wool flannel lining all intact. This example is exceptionally rare due to the mind blowing stencils on the back. A stunning example of an increasingly hard to find jacket, which is one of our person favorite military designs of all time.
