This is one of those pieces that I am sure we will regret selling, but…we can’t keep everything.
This is the finest vintage hunting jacket we have ever had. By far.
1920’s or 30’s Belted Khaki Canvas design from the always incredible American DUXBAK company. Highly sought after due to their incredibly unique designs. This example is like nothing we have ever seen. Not only is it in nearly unworn/ mint condition (with the perfect “broken-in” patina on the heavy canvas) but the pockets and details on this jacket are so, so beautiful.
Two large hip pockets, two massive hidden inside chest pockets, and another big rectangular wallet/ half-moon tobacco pocket on the inside upper chest. The construction is absolutely top tier, with all orignal tags, DUXBAK buttons, belt, and corduroy trim perfectly intact.
We even found a mechanic’s car repair receipt from 1947 in the pocket, which will go with the jacket.
One of the finest examples of early American outdoor/ hunting design we have ever seen. Definitely not to be missed.
