Being in this line of work, one ends up with a tremendous amount of clothing to wear, as things often get secretly moved from the “sell pile” to the “keep pile”.
Sometimes we get to a point where the closet MUST get consolidated, which results in us sometimes selling more modern/ “vintage inspired” pieces such as this gorgeous Nigel Cabourn Ventile rain jacket from the SS12 collection (thus making it practically impossible to track down). These were over $1000 USD when they first came out.
This is one of my favorite patterns by the British designer. Buttery smooth/ broken in “Survival Yellow” windproof Ventile cotton with taped seams and the same extremely high quality/ innumerable design details that their garments are known for, all while staying true to the vintage British/ RAF/ Royal Navy patterns that the piece references.
