A holy grail amount vintage collectors/ designs/ enthusiasts (for obvious reasons). The famous 1950’s 60’s Eddie Bauer Kara Koram arctic goose down Parka, in the beautiful vibrant vintage Red. The red version of this famous parka was commonly used by USARP scientists in Antarctica, as well as by some members of the 1953 American Karakoram expedition (both pictured)
Two large front pockets (with super soft/ warm wool flannel lined hand-warming pockets behind them). String adjustments at the hem, waist, and hood.
These parkas remain one of the most requested items we feature, and are incredibly hard to find. This example is in MINT condition and features the extremely rare "Pre-Kara Koram" tag which means it is one of the earliest examples of this design from the late 50's/ early 60's
Original TALON zipper, tag, pull strings, and knits all perfectly intact.
