WW2 US Navy Shawl-Collared Mackinaw Deck Jacket.
Incredibly rare and in good condition. This original late 1930’s/WW2 USN Deck Mackinaw features a beautiful, soft brown cotton construction that is completely lined with warm and lovely alpaca wool pile that is backed with a layer of OD rubberized canvas for maximum wind/ water resistance.
The sleeves feature blanket wool lining with internal cuffs. Leather accents and original buttons complete the look. The construction and materials used in this piece and absolutely astounding and would cost a few grand to try and manufacture today.
