Early WW2 US Army Canvas Shawl Collar Mackinaw Jeep Coat.

Early WW2 US Army Canvas Shawl Collar Mackinaw Jeep Coat.

$550.00

A stunning example of one of the most stylish military patterns to come out of the Second World War. This is the early incarnation of the famed “Mackinaw Jeep Coat”, made of a much thicker and sturdier windproof canvas shell (and to a much higher degree of quality than late war examples), produced in lovely deep olive drab and with a full gorgeous wool shawl collar.

One of our personal favorite jackets ever made.

This piece is in shockingly good, dare I say mint condition. All buttons intact, as well as the oft-missing wool lined belt! This would be very, VERY hard to improve upon.

The perfect coat for the Fall/ Winter season.
