This is a serious collector’s piece. These vintage LL Bean “Labrador Smocks” have long been a very sought after vintage piece of American outerwear, but there are two things about this example that make it truly exception.
1) It is fully reversible. Most of these were just simple and elegant Olive Drab pullover smocks. This example is completely reversible to gorgeous snow white. Which brings us to our next point;
2) It is mint. Do you have any SEMBLANCE of an idea how difficult it is to find a snow white utilitarian garment from the 50’s in mint condition these days?!
This thing cannot be bested. In our 15 years of collecting and fetishizing vintage smocks, this is only the third of these things we have ever found. And the first reversible pattern we have found, and most certainly the first in this condition.

Tightly woven, beautiful buttery smooth windproof shell with big hood and front pocket (on both sides) as well as original perfect SERVAL zipper and iconic LL Bean script label inside the pocket.
Approx size Medium to XL (Depending on how you want it to fit. A pullover garment like this should always fit bigger than you think for ease of getting in/ out of it. Plus they look best when oversized. This isn’t some slim fit abomination from Urban Outfitters here…)
