Earliest 1950's Korean War "Brown Mouton" USAF N-3A Extreme Cold Flight Parka. Medium
One of the most exquisite US Military nylon garments ever made, these early 1950’s Blue/ Brown Hood N-3 Parkas were made in extremely limited numbers just prior to the breakout of the Korean War, before quickly being replaced with the lower quality “Black hood” version.
The N-3A became the go-to Extreme Cold Weather garment for Aircrew and were constructed with no expense spared, These early 1950’s examples are incredibly rare, especially in this condition.
It has taken us years to track one of these down, so do not miss this chance to own this iconic garment.
Beautiful deep navy nylon outer, thick soft brown mouton lined hood with Coyote fur trim, nylon 02 tab on the chest still present, heavy duty spring-loaded CROWN zippers both work perfectly, original tag, and wool cuffs/ wool lined pockets.

A lovely example from our archive. Some signs of wear including moth holes on knits, a field repair on the front by the hip pocket, and a missing button as pictured.
