WW2 U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Hook Front USN Deck Jacket. Sub Hunter stencils

WW2 U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Hook Front USN Deck Jacket. Sub Hunter stencils

$0.00

One of the coolest/ rarest thing we’ve ever listed for sale on this website. These early pattern hook front (which use a different style hook than the later version) deck jackets are rare enough in any condition, but this one is USCG (United States Coast Guard) Issue with beautiful stencils indicating that it was used aboard USCGC Tallapoosa (WPG-52), a ship with a very long and rich Naval history and was used during WW2 for Anti-Submarine Patrols.

Totally lined with pristine navy wool in both the body and the front “D-pockets”, the tag is intact, the front/ back stencils are clear and legible , and all the hooks are perfect. The outer Jungle Cloth shell has a lovely worn patina that only vintage Jungle Cloth can get. Knits have some signs of wear, but totally fine and wearable. This is as good as it gets.

Don’t miss this chance to own one of the greatest designs in Military/ Menswear history.
