This gorgeous, and intricately designed/ constructed smock is made of heavy duty, rich navy Ventile cotton (A very expensive to manufacture water/ windproof fabric), available here in amazing condition.
The garment is largely adjustable size wise, as the hood, waist, hem, and wrists all have strings and straps that can be tied or buttoned accordingly to keep wind and rain firmly OUT.
Like all smocks, they are made to have a loose fit (for ease of getting them both on and off, as well as allowing the user to wear multiple layers for warmth underneath).
This particular example is in amazingly beautiful condition with the original tag intact, as well as the liner. Some small signs of wear.
