This piece is a real gem. Original WW2 British Windproof Smock that has been extensively period modified with a beautiful WW2 LIGHTNING zipper, had an elasticated waist and wrists added, and has been dyed a deep rich brown color. All expertly and officially done, likely for an individual in the special forces or LRDG.

One of the greatest of all British military designs, and one that saw use very early in WW2 all the way up to the 1960’s.

This one of a kind piece is in very good lightly used condition with only light signs of wear. These smocks were widely used during the North African campaign of WW2, and were often used by the famed Long Range Desert Group (LRDG). Tag is still intact but hard to read from being dyed.
