Just about as good as it gets for vintage menswear in our eyes. The 1960’s British Mountaineering anoraks, this one in beautiful, vivid “Survival Orange” windproof VENTILE cotton (One of the most expensive and sought after vintage windproof/ water resistant materials).
This timeless design is perfect in all seasons for hiking, biking, canoeing, camping, or your everyday commute. Especially in foul weather.
These smocks were used all through the 40’s-70’s by both civilian climbers, mountaineering expeditions, and RAF mountain rescue crews.
Condition is near mint with barely any sign that it was ever worn at all. All adjustable drawstrings, tags, AERO zippers, and buttons perfectly intact. You won’t find a better example.
