This is an incredibly special piece. Handmade by Labrador Inuit during the 1950’s or 60’s and based on an absolutely timeless arctic design. This simple and elegant anorak features perfectly patina’d vegetable dyed khaki canvas, large front utility pocket, and pointed hood with big, billowy, beautiful coyote fur trim around the hood.

These handmade vintage smocks are very rare and sought after for obvious reasons. This exact style of anorak has been worn and used for hundreds (possibly thousands) of years by First Nations people of the Arctic regions, as well as early Arctic explorers.
