This is a true gem.
An exceptionally rare mackinaw wool camp coat dating all the way back to the 1930’s, made by American outerwear masters (well…WERE) Abercrombie and Fitch, who made absolute top of the line garments during this time.
The coat itself features a number of incredible and unique design details such as antique TALON zipper split hood, double breasted chest closure to keep the wind out, large “D-pockets” at the hips, and the iconic original Abercrombie tag perfectly intact.
The wool is in nice but worn condition and is overall one of the most unique vintage wool mackinaw coats we have ever had the pleasure of holding. There are some clear signs of wear/ rips and loose threads here and there that will need repairs.
