The thickest and warmest parka one can find from the golden age of Mountaineering/ Expedition garments. This piece is from the very beginning of NORTH FACE’s history in making absolute top-of-the-line purpose-built outerwear.
This piece is so incredibly well constructed that it needs to be seen in person. Near mint condition, Extremely thick goose down quilted jacket and removable hood constructed of a heavy wind/ water resistant Survival Red rip-stop nylon.
A perfectly simple utilitarian design with two velcro pockets, adjustable strings, and an original YKK two-way zipper. All original NORTH FACE labels and stamped press buttons intact.
