1950's Eddie Bauer "Expedition Cloth" Skyliner Goose Down Shawl Collar Hunting Jacket.
As certified vintage Eddie Bauer fanatics, this is one of our favorites here at Saunders Militaria. This is their super rare, incredible 1950’s Goose Down Skyliner Hunting design in great condition, with one of the oldest tags we have seen on this pattern.
Perfect mid length style cut. Diagonal quilted goose down design with big flannel lined hand warming pockets, knit shawl collar, heavy duty TALON zipper, the original 1950’s EB tag all intact, and the very rare “Expedition cloth” tag, dating this to the 1950’s. This example is made from tightly woven “Expedition Cloth” (which is an extremely expensive/ luxurious windproof Egyptian cotton) with a fantastic mountaineering tag.
These are difficult to find, especially of this vintage. Original zipper works perfectly, and the knit collar/ cuffs are in great shape.
