Not something we generally get in, but a fascinating piece of military design none-the-less. A rare piece of WWII Luftwaffe cold-weather gear. These quilted silk liner trousers were issued to aircrew for high-altitude warmth, worn beneath flight suits in harsh conditions.
Lightweight yet insulating, with incredibly elegant and detailed square quilting. Waist adjusted to fit with drawcord closure. Subtle sheen from the silk, typical of late-war German materials. Stamp perfectly intact.
