This thing is stunning and was very nearly squirreled away into the archive, as we are a touch obsessed with all things Byrd Cloth.
This vest/ tag dates all the way back to the 1930’s/ early 40’s when Byrd cloth was very first developed as a cutting edge, and very expensive/ luxurious windproof cotton weave. These amazing tags are very hard to find, and this vest is in truly wonderful condition.
Loads of incredibly details, and a thick, soft, warm alpaca wool lining that will last for many years to come.
